Moody meant to be in England — preaching the gospel and winning “souls for Christ.” But the funds didn’t come through and Moody couldn’t afford the trip. Instead, he accepted a speaking engagement in Cleveland, Ohio. The Scripture tells us that “in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…” (Romans 8:38)
